Non-pressurized solar water heater

El calentador de agua solar despresurizado también llamado Termosifón funciona con agua en el interior del depósito como también en los tubos de vacío. El agua que se encuentra en el interior de los tubos de vacío debido a la radiación solar se calienta y esta asciende a la parte del depósito (el agua caliente tiene menos densidad y sube a la parte superior del depósito y el agua fría al tener más densidad, esta baja al interior de los tubos).

Details of operation:

This system always works depressurised, i.e. for the hot water to reach the taps, this system has to be much higher than the hot water taps. To have 0.5 Bar it must be at a height of 5.5 metres.

For this reason, in many systems a small energy-saving pump is installed in the hot water return, which increases the pressure from the system outlet in the entire hot water line.

System care:

These depressurised systems must be drained of water when the temperature is below +5 degrees Celsius (autumn, winter and spring), depending on the installation site, in order to avoid the risk of frost and damage to the system, which in many cases can be irreparable.

  4. Vacuum tube: single target vacuum tube, coating: AL/N/AL.
  5. Estructura: stainless steel, espesor: 1,2 mm / 1,5 mm.
